One-on-On Tutoring since 1998
Since 1998 Full Potential Learning Academy (FPLA) has been providing One-on-One tutoring using time tested and proven methods to help your child succeed. All our qualified, well trained tutors provide individualized One-on-One instruction using customized lesson plans. Our well trained, qualified tutors help your child uncover their hidden talents, identifying and strengthening the areas of weakness thereby realizing their FULL POTENTIAL.
OFFICE HOURS (Subject to seasonal changes):
Mid-August to May: Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 8:15 PM; Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1:45 PM.
June – early August: Monday through Friday 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM; Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
SESSION DURATION:
All the onsite tutoring sessions are 45 minutes duration. We work on a block schedule. Mondays & Wednesdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays and Fridays & Saturdays constitute a block. We recommend a minimum of two sessions per week.
All the online virtual sessions are 60 minutes duration. Online tutoring sessions are scheduled at the mutual convenience of the tutor-tutee.span>
All of our regular programs are offered on a One-on-One basis, where the student is paired with a FPLA certified tutor.
REGISTRATION FEE:
We charge a yearly registration fee per child. This fee helps keep your monthly tuition costs low by offsetting the administrative expenses, support services, and set up of your child in our tutor-management portal. The annual registration fee is non-refundable and payable per child. We may request a valid proof of identification for all modes of payment viz. credit Card, personal check or cash.
SESSION FEES:
All fees are due before a service is rendered. A valid credit card information must be maintained in our online payment processing system. Payments equivalent to one month of tutoring sessions is due prior to the commencement of tutoring. Unused tuition fee is non-refundable and can be used to reschedule a missed session. However, we accept bi-weekly payment schedule. Two weeks courtesy notice is required to withdraw your child. We reserve the right to refuse tutoring service for non-payment of dues or invalid credit card info in our system. All delinquent accounts will incur a 10% late fee, and may be referred to credit collection agencies.
PAYMENT MODE:
We accept checks, money orders, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express) and cash. Please note that the center reserves the right to assess a 3.00% convenience fee for all credit or debit card payments. A valid credit card info must be maintained in our secure online payment processing system (authorize.net).
TESTING FEES:
A separate testing fee will be charged for Reading Decoding, Math Placement and SAT/ACT/HSPT Pre-tests.
SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY:
NOTE: The online and onsite tutoring mode has different cancellation policy.
Online tutoring: Need 24 hours to cancel a prescheduled session.
Onsite tutoring: If it becomes necessary to cancel a prescheduled tutoring session scheduled for Monday through Friday, you must notify the center before 12 noon of the day of tutoring. All Saturday sessions must be cancelled by 6:00 PM the previous Friday.
You can call or text to 305-826-1896. If you have called outside of regular hours leave a detailed message that includes the child’s name, session times and days your child will be absent. We regularly monitor this line and return any calls during regular office hours. You can also email us at info@fullpotentialtutor.com.
Tutoring sessions that are NOT cancelled within the specified time frame will be charged $20.00 fee.
CHECK ACCEPTANCE/RETURNED CHECK POLICY:
FPLA will accept checks from individuals under the following conditions:
We will accept checks when presented with a valid driver’s license or valid state issued photo ID. We may retain a copy of the driver’s license for our records. In the event of non-availability of a valid license, alternate forms of valid identification may be accepted. A valid passport, or any other valid state issued photo id are considered alternate forms of identification. If a check is returned to the FPLA, no matter the reason, effective immediately the student will be ineligible to avail FPLA services. Once all funds are repaid, eligibility for participation may be resumed.
An account is considered delinquent when payment has not been received by the payment due date. All balances must be settled with a money order, certified bank check or cash and must include a $35 returned check fee. Once a check is returned, we do not accept checks from the individuals again.
As a courtesy, we will notify you of delinquency including the returned check through a phone call, email or letter. All returned checks must be settled within 10 calendar days of notification. Regardless of whether or not you receive a notification from us, it is the account holder’s (payer) responsibility to settle any outstanding balances. If the delinquent payment has not been settled within the stated time frame on the notification (i.e. ten days), we will levy 10% late fee of the past-due amount and FPLA will begin collection proceedings. Bank card returns will be handled by the same policy/procedures.
MEDIA RELEASE FORM (Photograph/Video/Comments/Progress Reports):
Occasionally, we may photograph, video graph, and audio record the students, parents, visitors and tutors. These recordings may be used exclusively for FPLA promotional purposes. By enrolling with FPLA you consent their use by FPLA for promotional purposes without further signature, release, and authorization, and without compensation or rights of ownership or royalties.
